The Pros From Dover were a scrappy early-1980’s band who crafted their catchy, edgy tunes in the cow-town of Nashville, hoping—unsuccessfully—to win over the music-business overlords of the day. They never broke through, but they broke plenty of rules and had an unforgettable amount of fun doing it. And these days most respected critics would agree that the lads were extremely influential on several world famous megastars of the present day, including such legends as Watch Those Fingers! and Greg The Impaler.
Featuring Bill Lamb and Thom Flora, the band’s legacy is equal parts ambition, defiance, attitude, good times and pure dumb luck. Long lost during several years of neglect, these jewels have recently re-emerged to once again beguile and bewilder the unwary listener.
